Pierre Glyn (U.S. Geological Service) will present “Soliciting information, biases, and beliefs in predictive modeling and adaptive management” at the Earth and Environmental Sciences Seminar.

An adaptive management framework is presented for the improved management by experiential learning of natural resources and environments through a public participation process.  The framework solicits the gathering of scientific information but also explicitly solicits the expression of participant beliefs for further incorporation in analytical and/or modeling processes.
